Media Release: Australian Cycling Academy announces 2025 team riders.

The Australian Cycling Academy (ACA) is excited to introduce the Seventeen Junior U19 riders selected to join the 2025 Official Jayco AlUla Junior Development Team, ARA | Skip Capital.

In August, ACA announced a renewed focus exclusively on the future development of Australian Junior U19 riders. This decision stems from the recognition that young Australian cyclists now encounter challenges significantly different from those faced by previous generations.

Australian Cycling Academy CEO Matt Wilson, stated, “To gain access to the top WorldTour development programs, it’s now crucial that U19 riders can gain exposure to European racing and get results at this level. To achieve this, riders need to source a team and get themselves to Europe as high school students. This change in direction for the ACA means we can fulfil a critical stepping stone for young riders that will allow them to continue to complete their schooling, while providing a world class racing program designed around young Australian’s riders unique needs, that aligns perfectly with our Academy ethos; live, learn, ride.”

A selection panel including representatives from the ACA, AusCycling and Jayco AlUla met in September and accepted the following riders into the program:
