In the pouring rain, five riders managed to hold their own against the peloton and play for victory in the sprint.
Cam has sprinted across the line to take his first win for the ACA Euro Tour 2022 and is the first Australian to win the race since it was established in 1993.
Director Sportif Henk Vogels said while conditions weren't favourable the men delivered an epic performance with Cam sprinting across the line to claim the win.
"On a horrendously inclement weather day where it do not stop raining for the whole race, we placed Declan Trezise and Cam Scott in the early move of the day with 8 riders , 10 climbs and 10 cobbled sections over 185kms and the break stuck all the way to the line where Cam was the quickest."
